Taxonomy
Actinotrypa sera was named by Girty (1908). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USGS 2962 green, southern Delaware Mountains, which is in a Roadian/Capitanian slope limestone in the Delaware Mountain Formation of Texas.
It was recombined as Epiactinotrypa sera by Kiseleva (1973).
