Diagnosis
ReferenceDiagnosis
H. J. Finlay 1939Identical with Gaudryina in all respects, except that aperture has entirely migrated into terminal face, but remains connected with base of last chamber by narrow groove-like channel, formed by incomplete closing in of sides. This is already evident in quite young shells, which even in triseral stage show a small, high, rounded aperture unlike true Gaudryina. A uniserial stage is approached, but never quite attained. This is to Gaudryina what Haeuslerella (especially the species hectori) is to Textularia.
