Diagnosis
Reference | Diagnosis | |
---|---|---|
H. J. Finlay 1939 | Identical with Gaudryina in all respects, except that aperture has entirely migrated into terminal face, but remains connected with base of last chamber by narrow groove-like channel, formed by incomplete closing in of sides. This is already evident in quite young shells, which even in triseral stage show a small, high, rounded aperture unlike true Gaudryina. A uniserial stage is approached, but never quite attained. This is to Gaudryina what Haeuslerella (especially the species hectori) is to Textularia. |
