Taxonomy
Moorites kozuri was named by Gerry and Honigstein (1987). Its type specimen is Xe 13368 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Maktesh Qatan-2 Well, Negev Desert, which is in a Changhsingian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal limestone/shale in the Arqov Formation of Israel.
