Taxonomy
Parengonoceras caneroti was named by Canérot and Collignon (1983). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Mollusca, Siera de Valdancha, Traiguera, which is in an Albian paralic siliciclastic in the Lignites de Traiguera Formation of Spain.
