Taxonomy
Fenestella concava was named by Gorjunova (1975). Its type specimen is PIN 2351/257 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kutali River, Karabeles Formation, Southeastern Pamirs, which is in a Changhsingian marine horizon in the Karabeles Formation of Tajikistan.
