Taxonomy
Polyporella visenda was named by Gorjunova (1975). Its type specimen is PIN 2351/800 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Taldi-Kol River, Southeastern Pamirs, which is in a Sakmarian marine horizon in the Bazardarin Formation of Tajikistan.
