Taxonomy
Camerisma sagmaria was named by Grant (1965). Its type specimen is USNM 127876 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Teufelsschlucht, near Neumarktl, which is in an Asselian carbonate limestone in the Dolzanova Soteska Formation of Slovenia.
