Taxonomy
Camarophoria pentameroides was named by Tschernyschew (1902).

It was recombined as Levicamera pentameroides by Ustritsky and Chernyak (1963); it was recombined as Camerisma pentameroides by Grant (1965) and Thorsteinsson (1974); it was recombined as Callaiapsida pentameroides by Grant (1971) and Shi and Waterhouse (1996).
