Bajarunia pilata

Taxonomy
Meekoceras pilatum was named by Hyatt and Smith (1905). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Paris Canyon, Columbites beds, Bear Lake Valley, which is in a Spathian marine limestone in the Thaynes Formation of Idaho.

It was recombined as Nordophiceras pilatum by Kummel (1969); it was recombined as Bajarunia pilata by Guex et al. (2010), Jenks et al. (2013) and Brayard et al. (2019).
