Taxonomy
Archaeromma hispanicum was named by Ortega-Blanco et al. (2011). Its type specimen is MCNA 9482, an exoskeleton (complete male wasp), and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Peñacerrada outcrop I, which is in an Albian terrestrial amber in the Escucha Formation of Spain.
