Grammatodon (Cosmetodon) obsoletiformis
Taxonomy
Parallelodon obsoletiformis was named by Hayasaka (1925). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kinshozan, Kuro zone, Akasaka, Gifu Prefecture, which is in a Capitanian carbonate limestone in the Akasaka Formation of Japan.
It was recombined as Grammatodon (Cosmetodon) obsoletiformis by Yancey (1985), Nakazawa (2007) and Prinoth and Posenato (2023).
