Taxonomy
Hollandites silberlingi was named by Bucher (1992). Its type specimen is USNM 444098 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Favret Canyon HB 3D, Augusta Mountains, which is in a Bithynian offshore limestone/siltstone in Nevada.
