Taxonomy
Tachylasma yiduense was named by Xu (1977). Its type specimen is IV38507 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Songmuping, Yidu County, which is in a Roadian/Capitanian carbonate limestone in the Maokou Formation of China.
