Taxonomy
Koninckocarinia yishanensis was named by Wu (1962). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Desheng Ay37-2, Xinhui, Yishan County, which is in a Kasimovian/Gzhelian carbonate limestone in the Maping Formation of China.
