Taxonomy
Lonsdaleiastraea kwangsiensis was named by Wu (1962). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Desheng Ay55, Xinhui, Yishan County, which is in an Asselian carbonate limestone in the Maping Formation of China.
