Taxonomy
Pseudosyringothyris ustritskyi was named by Kalashnikov (1981). Its type specimen is 271/61 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Mezhdusharsky Island, Sample 305, Novaya Zemlya, which is in a Sakmarian marine siliciclastic in the Sokolov Formation of the Russian Federation.
