Taxonomy
Productus pustulatus was named by Keyserling (1853). It is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Pustula pustulata by Buddington and Chapin (1929); it was recombined as Avonia pustulata by Ustritsky and Chernyak (1963); it was recombined as Krotovia pustulata by Cooper (1957), Liao (1979), Li et al. (1986), Kalashnikov (1993), Shi and Waterhouse (1996) and Tazawa et al. (2022).
