Taxonomy
Urushtenia zhongbaensis was named by Jin and Sun (1981). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Redui east 75TFM13, Gangqiao Zhi, Zhongba, which is in a Wuchiapingian marine horizon in the Gangqiao Formation of China.
