Taxonomy
Rhynchonella mutabilis was named by Stoliczka (1866). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Lilang, which is in an Anisian marine horizon in India.
It was recombined as Nudirostralina mutabilis by Jin et al. (1976) and Gaetani (2018).
