Taxonomy
Septaliphoria pulchra was named by Jin et al. (1976). Its type specimen is NIGP 28772 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Nieniexiongla JSB80, Nyalam County, which is in a Bathonian marine horizon in the Nieniexiongla Formation of China.
