Taxonomy
Septacamera kolymica was named by Zavodovsky (1959). Its type specimen is TsNIGR 1/8629 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Bolshaya Yarkhodon River, which is in an Asselian marine siliciclastic in the Burgali Formation of the Russian Federation.
