Taxonomy
Uraloceras margaritae was named by Kutygin and Ganelin (2011). Its type specimen is IGABM 175/98-4 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Munugudzhak River 12/VG-99, which is in a Sakmarian marine siliciclastic in the Munugudzhak Formation of the Russian Federation.
