Taxonomy
Tabulipora ambigua was named by Kiseleva (1982). Its type specimen is PTGU 187/7 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Pogranichnoe, Limestone Quarry 2.5 km W, Vladivostok Horizon, Primorye, which is in a Roadian carbonate limestone in the Vladivostok Formation of the Russian Federation.
