Taxonomy
Fistulipora xizangensis was named by Lu (1982). Its type specimen is NIGP 38519 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Tuoba coal mine F15/123, Qamdo County, which is in a Wordian marine horizon in the Jiaoga Formation of China.
