Muracypraea andersoni
Taxonomy
Cypraea andersoni was named by Ingram (1947). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is CAS Loc. 267B. Tuberia Hill, 1 mile west of Tuberia, which is in a Miocene coastal sandstone in Colombia.
It was synonymized subjectively with Cypraea (Muracypraea) henekeni by Weisbord (1962); it was recombined as Muracypraea andersoni by Landau and Marques da Silva (2010).
