Erasipteroides valentini
Taxonomy
Erasipterella valentini was named by Brauckmann et al. (1985). Its type specimen is Kemper K-6ab, an exoskeleton (fragmentary only parts of wings & body), and it is an impression. Its type locality is Hagen-Vorhalle quarry (Kemper collection), which is in a Marsdenian estuary/bay shale/sandstone in Germany.
It was recombined as Erasipteroides valentini by Brauckmann and Zessin (1989), Bechly et al. (2001) and Brauckmann et al. (2003).
