Taxonomy
Grypoceras milleri was named by Kummel (1953). Its type specimen is USNM 107095 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Slight Canyon, Paris-Bloomington Region, which is in a Griesbachian offshore limestone in the Dinwoody Formation of Idaho.
