Rhizopsis horrida
Taxonomy
Rhizopsis horrida was named by Schrammen (1910). It is not extant. Its type locality is Nettlingen, which is in a Turonian offshore shelf marl in the "Scaphiten-Pläner" Formation of Germany. It is the type species of Rhizopsis.
