Solenosteira falconensis was named by Weisbord (1929). It is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Cantharus (Hanetia) falconensis by Barrios (1960); it was recombined as Solenosteira (Fusinosteira) falconensis by Landau and Marques da Silva (2010).
