Aviculopecten hayasakai
Taxonomy
Aviculopecten hayasakai was named by Murata (1964). Its type specimen is IGPS 85737 and is a mold. Its type locality is Toyazawa, IGPS Mi116, Kamioshishiori, Kesennuma City, which is in a Roadian marine shale in the Kanokura Formation of Japan.
It was recombined as Etheripecten hayasakai by Nakazawa and Newell (1968).
