Taxonomy
Chainodictyon kashkarense was named by Schulga-Nesterenko (1952). Its type specimen is PIN 613/c. 177 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is South Kashkara, Well 15/14, 863-871 m, which is in an Artinskian carbonate limestone in the Russian Federation.
