Taxonomy
Rhombocladia aktashensis was named by Lavrentieva (1985). Its type specimen is PIN 315/78 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Aktash River, Outcrop 20, Sterlitamak, which is in an Asselian marine horizon in the Russian Federation.
