|R. D. Hoare et al. 1978||Small, equivalved, strongly inequilateral megadesmid with a pronounced umbonal ridge, nongaping margins, and inflated umbones.
Small shells with truncated posterior margin; strong umbonal ridge; es-cutcheon present but lunule absent; prosogyrate beaks; nymph present; dentition consisting of a large tooth under beak of right valve and a narrow elongate tooth anterior to beak of left valve.
