Taxonomy
Spiriferella lata was named by Lee and Su (1980). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Huanggangliang, Huanggangliang Fm, Keshenketeng, which is in a Wordian marine horizon in the Huanggangliang Formation of China.
