Cyphomenoidea wisgoriensis
Taxonomy
Leptaena wisgoriensis was named by Lamont and Gilbert (1945). It is extant. It is the type species of Cyphomenoidea, Cyphomena (Cyphomenoidea).
It was recombined as Cyphomena (Cyphomenoides) wisgoriensis by Jones et al. (1969); it was recombined as Bellimurina (Cyphomenoidea) wisgoriensis by Musteikis and Cocks (2004) and Congreve et al. (2019); it was recombined as Bellimurina wisgoriensis by Hoel (2011); it was recombined as Cyphomenoidea wisgoriensis by Thomsen and Baarli (1982), Baarli (1995), Dewing (1999) and Cocks (2019).
It was recombined as Cyphomena (Cyphomenoides) wisgoriensis by Jones et al. (1969); it was recombined as Bellimurina (Cyphomenoidea) wisgoriensis by Musteikis and Cocks (2004) and Congreve et al.
