Grioceras skinneri
Taxonomy
Peritrochia skinneri was named by Miller (1945). Its type specimen is SUI 3143, a shell (Internal mold), and it is a mold. Its type locality is Clay Slide, Glass Mountains (Skinner collection), which is in a Kungurian marine horizon in the Cathedral Mountain Formation of Texas.
It was recombined as Prostacheoceras skinneri by Lee (1980), Bogoslovskaya (1990) and Leonova (2002); it was recombined as Grioceras skinneri by Leonova (2018).
