Taxonomy
Legrandella was named by Eldredge (1974) [Sepkoski's age data: D Emsi-l Sepkoski's reference number: 359]. It is not extant. Its type is Legrandella lombardii.

It was assigned to Xiphosurida by Sepkoski (2002); and to Prosomapoda by Lamsdell (2013) and Dunlop et al. (2020).
