Delopsocus elongatus
Taxonomy
Delopterum elongatum was named by Sellards (1909). Its type specimen is Sellards 61, a forewing, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Elmo, Sellards collection, which is in an Artinskian pond limestone in the Wellington Formation of Kansas. It is the type species of Delopsocus.
It was recombined as Delopsocus elongatus by Tillyard (1928), Rasnitsyn (2004) and Prokop et al. (2017).
