Taxonomy
Nucula glaberrima was named by von Münster (1837). It is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Leda (Yoldia) glaberrima by Speyer and von Koenen (1884); it was recombined as Yoldia glaberrima by Ravn (1907); it was recombined as Yoldia (Yoldia) glaberrima by Schnetler and Palm (2008).
