Taxonomy
Enteletes retardata was named by Huang (1933). Its type specimen is NIGP 4671 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kaochien, Locality 1349, Wengan-hsien, which is in a Wuchiapingian carbonate limestone in China.
