Paraprisca fragilis
Taxonomy
Prisca fragilis was named by Sellards (1909). It is not extant. Its type locality is Elmo, Sellards collection, which is in an Artinskian pond limestone in the Wellington Formation of Kansas. It is the type species of Paraprisca, Prisca.
It was recombined as Paraprisca fragilis by Handlirsch (1919), Handlirsch (1922), Tillyard (1928), Carpenter (1935), Storozhenko (1998) and Beckemeyer (2009).
