Sichuanothyris dapaichongensis

Taxonomy
Notothyris dapaichongensis was named by Liao and Meng (1986). Its type specimen is NIGP 74243 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Dapaichong, Huatang, Chenxian County, which is in a Changhsingian shallow subtidal limestone in the Changxing Formation of China. It is the type species of Sichuanothyris.

It was recombined as Sichuanothyris dapaichongensis by Shen et al. (1992).
