Taxonomy
Altiplecus zhejiangensis was named by Liang (1990). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Lengwu, upper Shiziling Member, Tonglu, which is in a Capitanian coastal marl/limestone in the Lengwu Formation of China.
