Taxonomy
Haydenella elongata was named by Liao (1980). Its type specimen is NIGP 43603 and is a mold. Its type locality is Jiaozishan Section Bed 14 (AJ-29,28,27,26), Anshun County, which is in a Wuchiapingian marine siltstone/limestone in China.
