Taxonomy
Phricodothyris guizhouensis was named by Liao (1980). Its type specimen is NIGP 43729 and is a mold. Its type locality is Jiaozishan Section Bed 10 (AJ-21,20), Anshun County, which is in a Wuchiapingian carbonate limestone/siltstone in China.
