Taxonomy
Dielasma zhijinense was named by Liao (1980). Its type specimen is NIGP 43804 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Damaochang, DaMei1, Zhijin County, which is in a Wuchiapingian coastal siliciclastic in the Longtan Formation of China.
