Taxonomy
Paryphella undata was named by Liao (1984) [Paryphella sparsiplicata undata]. Its type specimen is NIGP 71155 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Meishan well 1, Changxing County, which is in a Griesbachian carbonate limestone in the Yinkeng Formation of China.
