Taxonomy
Productus gefoensis was named by Licharew (1937). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Gefo Mountain, north Caucasus, which is in a Changhsingian marine horizon in the Russian Federation.
It was recombined as Haydenella gefoensis by Licharew and Kotlyar (1978).
