Selindella was named by Repina (1979) [Sepkoski's age data: Cm Atda-u]. It is not extant. Its type is Selindella gigantea.
It was assigned to Archaeaspididae by Palmer and Repina (1993); and to Olenellida by Sepkoski (2002).
